This summer camp invites young artists to explore the natural world while developing their skills in wheel throwing, hand building, sculpting and glazing. Projects are designed to encourage an appreciation of art and nature in a fun studio atmosphere while embarking on guided nature hikes. Each week will focus on native plants, wildlife and ecosystems that will inspire their clay projects. Whether shaping clay, exploring the trails, or visiting the Park’s native wildflower patch, this camp nurtures curiosity, creativity and an appreciation for the environment around us!
